How to dry your biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas with SILOXA

We offer the following gas drying solutions:

 

Biogas, sewage gas, and landfill gas from renewable energies are typically too warm and as a result saturated with water. Our specially developed gas drying system remove this excess water, thus increasing the efficiency of gas engines.

The warmer a gas, the more moisture it can hold. By lowering the gas temperature during drying, its moisture capacity is significantly reduced. During this cooling process, condensate forms, which  is then removed.

Our market-leading activated carbon filters, have a maximum filling capacity in liters. To ensure your filter is always at optimal performance, our  high-quality activated carbon is measured and delivered in liters, not kilograms. The same applies for filters supplied by other manufacturers.

Why is high-quality activated carbon so light?

The lower the specific weight of activated carbon (in g/l or kg/m³), the higher the pore volume of the activated carbon. A high pore volume means a lager contact surface, which leads to better purification. High pore volume is a quality characteristic of high-quality activated carbon.
