Our adsorption drying systems for biomethane gas consist of two separate adsorber vessels which operate alternately for optimal results. The vessels each contain a packed bed of a high-quality desiccant which allows dew points of up to -80°C to be attained. The alternating operation allows both adsorber vessels to regenerate regularly. This approach, combined with our commitment to quality, ensures maximum durability.

Technical details of ADTR
Our adsorption drying system is available in two standard sizes, for gas flow rates up to 400 Nm3/h, and up to 700 Nm3/h. As we are also a manufacturer of complete gas plants, we are capable of delivering a tailored system, specific to the gas flow rate of your biomethane gas processing installation.
The equipment is made from stainless steel, and the compact design, with a pre-assembled, frame-mounted base unit, allows for flexible location, even in confined spaces. The system is approved for outdoor use, as the control cabinet is designed for protection class IP 55.
The ADTR can be expanded with a gas precooling unit and also with a chiller. The system can also be operated in an EX zone.

Efficient operation through self-regulation
The regeneration process is fully automated via a PLC control system. This allows the operator to monitor all system parameters at all times and, in case of an emergency, manually intervene using a user-friendly touch panel.
After the adsorption drying process has been completed, the dried biomethane will have reached the required dew point. No additional foreign or inert gas is required for operation of the drying system, as the use of drying agents takes place with an automatic, self-regulating process, saving resources.
