In addition to our extensive range of activated carbon products, we also offer iron hydroxide products. These are used to reduce the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) content in biogenic gases directly within the fermenter. Iron hydroxide is introduced along with fermentation substrates, during, the fermentation process. Our high quality products consist of purely natural, partially processed, iron with high purity.

SORB NEO: For coarse desulfurization within the fermenter
Iron hydroxide is introduced along with fermentation substrates to reduce hydrogen sulfide (H2S) during fermentation. SORB NEO is a pure natural iron hydroxide. Due to its high iron content, the extra amount of material added into the fermenter is low, and because of the purity of SORB NEO, there are no additional sediments.

FEPS: for specialized desulfurization
FEPS has been specially developed for the removal of hydrogen sulfide from technical and biogenic gases. It is based on highly amorphous iron oxide, which efficiently and safely removes trace gases from the gas. A highly porous structure leads to a very high loading capacity, which also means FEPS is very cost-effective. The uniformly shaped and pressure-resistant pellets lead to a low and consistent pressure drop in the packed bed.
